Ed grew up on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. The youngest of 6 siblings, Ed was determined not to be another hopeless statistic from the inner city. In High School where he gained a reputation for Singing, DJ’ing and being a class clown, Ed also knew he wanted more out of life. Using his jokes and charm, Ed won over his high school sweetheart and now wife, Mrs. Love, and soon after graduating High School he enlisted in the US Army and was well on his way to building a career in telecommunications industry. After 20 years in the telecommunications industry and earning his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Ed decided to change careers. A Techy from a young age, he began a computer repair company in Orlando Fl.,(Westech89) and also began working in the media dept at his Church Majestic Life Ministries; where he fell in love with the camera and its ability to capture and tell stories using motion pictures. Ed never looked back and after several years in the computer business Ed made the decision to focus strictly on Media and Entertainment, forming the Corporation known as 89 Media Inc., which specializes in Video Promotions, Commercials and Production Services. Ed’s love for film continued to grow to a point where he knew he needed more education on Film Production if he ever planned on fulfilling a burning desire to produce and direct his own film. And just like that! Ed enrolled in a Film Production Program at Valencia College. Sacrificing two years to this full time intense program, Ed completed all the requirements and earned a degree in Film Production Technology. Ed’s first film, I Tried To Give Up, has been received well in several film festivals abd continues to win over audiences across the Southeastern Unites States.
